I've been to two awesome games and each was has been awesome. Last night I was in row 8 or 9 in the inside aisle seats in section 117, the one closest to the premium, behind home plate seats. It's been awesome to be at. I just want to experience one win.

It's not to bad getting to the WNFF from overseas, save yourself a bit of bandwidth by turning off signatures and avatars
It's not the bandwith I'm worried about, it's whether or not I'll even be able to get to a computer...

I carry a notebook with me, lot easier to get through the airport than a laptop and it gives you the option of either wireless or hard line - 3G is too darn expensive once you leave the country.

O guess I should ask where you're going....hadn't occurred to me that you may be going someplace which may have a serious lack of connectivity

India.  And while a lot of India has places to get on line, the places I'll be have limited access, though I've heard it's improved from the last time I was there, so we'll see.  But I know our schedule is pretty full, so getting online to check the board isn't going to be a high priority.

Actually, last time we went through DC and Frankfurt there and Dubai, London, DC, Chicago on the way home.  It was supposed to be Amsterdam, London DC, but it got all messed up by an airline workers strike.  We squeezed a 36 hour trip into 52.  It sucked.

Calling all old guys.    Anybody remember Charlie Daniels "LA Via Omaha"?      Now it's Mumbai via Omaha ... man, how times have changed.

DPM, check out Boingo or iPass. They have an all-you-can-eat wifi plan that is worldwide, with the added bonus of airport wireless. Or get a kindle and you can have free 3G wireless worldwide.

That is a painfully bad line-up. I am just waiting for Strasburg's reaction when Neives calls for a slider despite the fact that Strasburg doesn't throw one.

What's the point of sitting Hammer, Pudge and Desmond?

Couldn't Riggs have spaced that out a bit?

this will be my second game - hoping for a win (obviously). last outing was a 1-0 loss. excited to see strasburg--hopefully he gets some run support tonight.

Nothing like trotting out your worst possible lineup the day after a franchise's "savior" leaves for the bright lights of a winner.

For some strange reason, Riggs seems to go with a defensively oriented lineup when Stras is pitching, despite the fact that Stras' high strikeout rate greatly reduces the number of balls in play, effectively reducing the need for defense.

I don't see the need to rest anybody. They get a three day break after Sunday.

Can't wait to see Wil Nieves destroy our offense and also destroy Strasburg.

"Hey Stephen, let's go curve, curve, curve, change in this AB."
"But I have a 99 MPH fastball that is feeling awesome tonight."
"Let's go breaking stuff."

I'll laugh if Strasburg has a dominant outing and the Nats win 5-0.
