If Bally's being called up they will do a simulated game for him a few innings on Sat then call him up to pitch. I think d cab gets 2 more starts to work things out .

Is there someone that could go back and break down that Ankiel at bat from last inning.  The Card announcers were all over DCab again about tipping his breaking balls.  Slowing way down when he went off speed.

Nope, I'm my own man.

No relation to Minty.

yes. i like the unis too
I like the blue.  I don't like it with the red helmet and socks or the stars and stripes logo.  It's got potential, but like so many other things with this team, it was poorly executed, IMO.

yeah, he's looked pretty good tonight but still no excuse for us only to have 2 runs in 5 innings off of him.

Nick-at-Nite gets another hit...  batting .347

Left on base.

There's an extensive discussion of Lintyfresh vs MintyFresh in the Introduce Yourself thread.  Linty' had no idea there was some here using Minty'

"I think if we had a graph...that showed how much Nick Johnson went to left field, it would say 75%."

No. This is my username I use for all the forums I frequent.

Saw a Double Mint gum commercial one day and they said "minty fresh" and my last name being Lint I thought, Lintyfresh...

The rest is history.

I'm curious, do you know how announcers know where the ball is going?  It's not by watching the ball in flight.  They watch the outfielders and in this case he was sprinting back towards the wall.  There was reason to get excited.  Just fell a bit short.

the starting pitcher the Syracuse Chiefs roughed up tonight was Matt Cassel's brother, Justin Cassel.
