So would you rather have snow ?

Overreacting to weather? You should see people around here when it snows.

If I have power, I'd prefer snow. If not, I'd prefer rain.

I don't think Columbia, SC has gotten that much snow in the past twenty years combined.

The predictions are sounding less dire now, aren't they.

wind/rain still coming ... sounds like the heavy winds will be here for another hour (not really going over 45 mph gusts) but staying steady ... then around 10 the winds will die down.  rain will pick up heavy a little after midnight.

right now still in the clear.  hope that stays the same.  i'm digging the laying in bed watching crappy horror movies.

The East Village of NYC is flooded, holy cow. Another 70 blocks north and my street will be flooded! Good thing I'm on the second floor.

Haha yea, pretty much. I forget how big Manhattan is. East Village seems so close since I've been down there a ton and it's basically a 15 minute subway ride away.

I'm so glad you're here. Finally ... someone gets me.

My co-workers says that Alaska Airlines scheduled her flight for Wednesday morning. American Airlines and Delta have both said all their flights are canceled until Thursday. All flights are out of DCA.

Winds are supposed to ease up a bit after midnight but remain strong tomorrow. This storm is now bringing high winds to Canada , Ohio, and upstate ny.  Incredible.

i'm seeing winds in 20s (MPH) tomorrow which is night and day better than mid 40s like today.  NJ/DE/MD shores are getting 60 mph winds though for the next hour then down to 50 then around 30 at 2 am.  yikes.

Guess I'll be renovating again...new ceilings made it just over a year.  First world problems I suppose.
