Flurries in Arlington.

I hope I have enough milk, bread and TP at home.

Was flurrying here in Alexandria, it's now a steady snow, not sticking though. Also have a HUGE hawk on my fence eating some sort of animal. Not sure if it's a smaller bird, a mouse or what.

heavy snow in the gainesville area for about the last 15 minutes.  D.C. should be emptying any second now.

Not even funny, my grandmother does that to me all the time when there's a chance of snow. We have an Excursion, 4WD, jacked up a little bit. 1 inch of snow isn't going to stop us from getting to her, let alone that Blizzard we had two-years ago. Excursion ate right through it like it was nothing.

Surprised she hasn't called me already asking to run to the store and get it for her. Worst part about it, when we actually do get some snow and I don't want to be out with the idiots who can't drive, she'll call last minute, so not only do I have to wait in line for 5 hours just to buy three things, but I have to deal with them, making what should be a 15 min drive to her house, into an hour.

BTW, she's a computer type old grandmother, so she can warn you a good 4+ days before the big stuff is going to happen. Just decides waiting till last minute is best, probably because she panics. She's from the mid-west where they use to get 3ft at a time and crap.

Need to keep a loaf of bread in the freezer for her and some of that irradieted milk that never goes bad with a 12 pack of TP in the truck. Never be caught off guard!

Believe me, she's fine, most of the time I show up, she doesn't even need it, it's just her being crazy. If worst came to worst I'd bring her over here and let her stay with me.

Weird, I live like 5 miles from Springfield and it isn't doing a thing at my house. Maybe it's coming? Right now it's just small small flurries mixed with light rain.

Well, the building I am at right now, shows snow flakes steadily coming down......it probably won't stick....but the snowball fight hope is still there.......

What the hell!!!!!! I have nothing here, literally, nothing. Pretty crazy how the weather can be with how close we are. Kind of like a tornado will take out your house, but not the one right next to yours.

Snow is picking back up here in Alexandria. I guess it might have just taken this long to get here from Springfield? Wouldn't think so, but who knows. Absolutely love snow.

Upstate New York here - still no measureable snow beyond the storm of 10/28.  Even then we only got about 1 1/2" here - my mother in central MA got 28".

Those are so insanely good - and they shouldn't be.  I have a feeling that my A1c was so high because of those things.  I could eat two of them without batting an eyelash.

At Trader Joe's today, the panic buying was not milk, TP, and bread.  It was high fiber granola bars.

Oh man, guilty pleasure. They are awful for you, but when AtBC travels it's either one of those for din din or fresh pasta and sauce. They are so full of buttery goodness.

tonight is going to be interesting, per Henry Margusity on Accuweather, there is an unusual weather phenomena setting up in which a mass of very cold air is pooling on the west side of the appalachians.  At some point this evening it's going to burst over the mountains like a dam bursting.  Winds will rapidly go up to 40MPH or so, and the latest models are showing potentially 1-2" of snow overnight all the way to D.C.

Hold on to your hats.

So it's 54° when I go to work, not needing a jacket, and it's going to be snowing when I get off work.  Damn global warming!
