I actually have to say, this was one of our best losses... a lot of hits for the offense, the pen did well, Clip did pretty good.

Come on dude.   :?

We just got swept by the Giants at home.  In the meantime, the Lerners are too busy to do anything about this pathetic product they are fielding on a daily basis.
freak those losers. I find it funny that we haven't heard one word from the Lerners or Kasten since the beginning of the season addressing the play of the team. We are a complete embarrassment.

Did you guys just hear Knight say that "At least we were in this one". I guess since we can't win we should just take pride and solace in losing close games.

As much as the Nats swing at the first pitch, I wouldn't be surprised if an opposing pitcher throws a 27-pitch perfect game against them this season.  :bang:

The Josef Goebbels MASN kool-Aid show is in full force on MASN as we speak...

It's official, I miss Zimmerman. I don't know if he'd be a HUGE upgrade, but I do know that we'd have more clutch hitters spread out in our lineup if he was here.

Not really...I'd rather change my son's diapers than watch this catastrophe of a team...   :?

my prediction for the series on Friday:
Quote
and this should be a 4 game sweep series for the nats. a 4 game sweep is definitely feasible.

 x a million. i seriously thought we take 3/4 easily.

my optimism says that we've lost 4 straight so we're due for a win tomorrow night in pittsburgh where i will be in attendance!  :woop: :woop:

Someone e-mail this to the Nats FO.

When fans start saying ridiculous things like this, you know we've reached the point of "We Suck."

Come on dude.   :?

We had like 13 baserunners, pen didn't give up any runs, and we lost by 1 run. It wasn't a bad loss at all....

We just lost 4 in a row at home to the hapless Giants where we were outscored 25-6.  That is pretty much all that needs to be said.

I personally have never been able to understand the concept of a "best loss".

1. This is a pretty scary picture.
2. I can kind of see why he missed w/ quite a few pitches.

I was just talking about this game, the rest of the series was pathetic.

Give the guy a break.  Sensible fans can see positive things to build off a loss, especially a close one like this, with plenty of good elements to them.  How was Tyler Clippard having a quality start not a positive thing?

I didn't read the entire thread -- but why were the Nats wearing green caps today?
