You've got it right, except Belliard wouldn't be smiling.

And I think we've taken this a little too far.

Whatever, Jimenez deserves to get raped by defenses anyway...

good god.. Jimenez is as slow as ****.. He should have beat that out by a mile. 7 IP 2 ER for Hamels.  Do any of the hitters on this team actually take pride in their hitting?  It seems like night in and night out they are content with scoring 2-3 runs.

We needed at least one run that inning.

Do you guys think ham is done? 107 pitches, maybe we can get something going vs their pen

I think you're confusing pride with capability ... I doubt it's an accident that the Nats have the lowest offensive output in the league ..

gotcha. Never seen it, though

I've had my share of run ins with Philly fans both at RFK and at Fed Ex but they are really just wannabes. They delude themselves into believing they are bad ass and tough because they believe the hype from ESPN that they are so tough and bad ass. Last season my brothers and I ran into a crowd of them at Fed Ex and believe me after the game when hell broke down their nag asses weren't thinking they were bad ass anymore when we wiped the concourse floor with their Mc Nabb and Westbrook jerseys.

All you have to do is look at lineup to understand why we don't average too many runs. We need to address that...we ALL know that. It's hard for me to believe they aren't trying to score more than 2 or 3 runs. This is why I want a guy like Dunn. I know, a lot of you don't agree, but he's got something we're lacking; POWER.

You're quite right wpa. However, at times, it seems as if they go up against certain pitchers and decide early that they can't hit him and roll over for the rest of the game. That's just my opinion and I realize it could be wrong.

So you don't like the Phillies or you don't like the Phillies' fans? Utley's a badass.

Agreed.  His stock cannot get any higher than it is right now. The sooner we get rid of him, the more we are going to get in return.
