What did he say?
Kobernus looks like a star in the making. Hopefully Rizzo isn't thinking of him as a trading piece.
Kobernus has some damn good speed for someone who is 6'2/210
i really think he can be the nats version of brian roberts (when healthy):annie batsignal:
Brain Roberts - 5' 9", 175 lbs. Kobernus has 5" and 35 lbs on him.
While Roberts had a few years with some pop, you'd think Kobernus's frame would eventually give him more power.
Why stop there? Let's compare him to Jeff Kent and Rogers Hornsby.
it's just from watching him play, it's who he reminds me of.
Jon (DC): Jeff Kobernus is tearing up AA. What do you see his ceiling as (regular?) and what are his chances of getting there? Jim Callis: His ceiling is as a decent, maybe solid regular. I've always liked him some, but he's not a .372 hitter and he'll need to show more on-base ability and power.
