I know what you mean. Both BA and RBIs are important to me. OBP is nice but like I have said countless times, walks do not produce runs, hits do. Just watch the 3 games we just played against the Padres to see what I'm talking about.
Not only that, it's not like walks were not recognized as important in previous eras.
