Was that Werth pulling Uggla to 2nd to open a hole on the right side of the infield for Pudge?

Sports are very streaky.  Eventually the A Braves losing streak has to come to an end and a Nats win streak has to end.  Do i like it?  NO, but it happens!  Do i wish it didnt have to come when Stras pitches?  Of course.  However he's not going to be perfect every time.  No one is!

Sunshine rant over!

Why are people going crazy for 2011 Pudge?  I couldn't get excited for 2001 Pudge if you paid me

No idea. The fans love affair with Ivan Rodriguez is pathetic. He's washed up. He needs to retire.

Great play by Wilson to save a run.  He's always been a terrific fielder.

Oh man am I old. He did the play-by-play for th OLD Senators. I watched many of his games. Pre-game was titled Dugout Chatter.

Bob Wolff was the first TV announcer for the Washington Nationals, ordinarily called the Washington Senators. Started in 1947 and continued until Calvin stole away to Minneapolis. Sometimes worked nationally: called Don Larsen's perfect game. Elected to Broadcasters Wing of the Hall of Fame in the mid '90s. Did NBC's Game of the Week through the '60s with Joe Garagiola.

Author of "It's Not Who Won of Lost the Game -- It's How You Sold the Beer", a collection of stories about his memorable broadcasting moments.

Dominicans have some freaked up spelling. The pitcher spells his name Cristhian. Isn't there also someone from the DR that spells his name Jhonny?  :lmao:

Yup, worst pitcher on the staff. Pretty awful. Disgraceful to the Nationals franchise.

You've said this about every pitcher on the staff whose last name doesn't start with C-L.
