Blaming umps for your pathetic GDT performance is for freaking losers!  :lmao:

i don't know why you are addressing that to me when SF is the one who made that comment and then blamed the umps yesterday

Oh balls! I totally forgot to call permadibs on all the Astros gamedays this year.

I call permadibs on all the rest of the Astros gamedays this year. :mg:

I was getting hammered for it last week so I figured I'd do it for character consistency.  That way Chief can categorize me for future referencing.

Just busting your balls.

Stubbs BBQ, Tim Riggins, and Eric Johnson are all good Texas themes.

I'll fall on the sword for tomorrow night's Detwiler/Zambrano matchup if nobody else desperately wants it.

I'll give it a try if you don't mind Chief.  I'm super superstitious though, so if I lose, I'll probably never ever ever make one again.

Heh, that's fine.  I'd recommend having the thread up by early afternoon though.  A placeholder is fine, but the natives start getting restless around 2 or 3 if they don't have the day's thread ready to discuss hamburgers, sideline reporters, and other non sequitirs

Hey, if we're being superstitious, today's thread had nowhere near as many non-sequiturs as the last two days' threads (burgers and panoramic photography), and look what happened.

No LaRoche today.  Tracy batting cleanup :?:

Also, I want Tuesday if that's cool.

Just a thought - we should have Old Chelsea's progress post be the last post of each GDT.  It's a nice little bow.

My apologies, I thought this game was at 7pm tonight.  Mad props to the Chief for picking up the reins for me today.

Can't have the enemy doing it anyway. That's why hammonds should not do games against the birds. hammonds has been bad luck anyway so anyone but hammonds tomorrow.
