Bob is announcing like an ex-employee.  He's being very 3rd person.
yep I noticed that as well.. Why didn't they wait until after the season to tell him?

lol Nook only has speed? His defense is superior to to Church. His hitting for power for averavge is better too. On;y thing church has on him is hitting for power

nook lets too many fly balls drop in front of him. he makes a lot of bad reads and fortunately he has speed to make up for some of them. Church is more fundamentally sound imo but nook has better athletic ability.

The U look primed to  upset Texax A%M tonite. They'll definitely be ranked next week if they win.

Why? They got destroyed by Oklahoma. I'd say they're between 25-30 if they win. If they win next week, too, then ranked.

But if they blow them out, then ranked.

Probably remembering what the did to Frank last year and the backlash from not letting him say goodbye, properly.  I'm sure Bob will mention it, probably near the end of the last game.

no doubt nook is tha least instinctive in tha outfield, bt he still a better outfielder than Church, easily. Its not ev en close. Church can't make tha difficult athletic catches than Kearn and Nook make.

Church has been a lot less aggressive since he hit the wall in Pittsburgh two years ago.  That was a fine, game saving, athletic play, but the injuries ruined what had started out as a splendid season.  I think he's been a little bit wall shy ever since.  But the big advantage Church has over Logan is power.  Logan has none, Church plenty.  Church also has a much stronger arm.

Great job by Berg, him and Hill are locks for # 2 and #3 next yr. We gotta find a real deal #1 in the off season. If we don't get A.J., I'd let to see us pursue D-Train. He seems to be very fond of us, and the Marlins are willing to deal him.

not getting A.J. is sort of irrelevant. In an idea scenario, we would get both.

Dunn excites me as much as dun. I would rather not see him in a Nat uniform, we already have enough ex Reds on the roster. Bowden needs to let go of that fascination.

Dunn is very similar to Frank Howard.  And that's a compliment.

But did you see who's warming up?  Jose Mesa, who must nearly be as old as I am.  I smell opportunity.

these first two games are the most winnable. The final 2 are gonna be tough. Kendrick and Cold Ham vs Redding and Han.

They said the same thing after last season.  Yet, JP was never even close to his old self this year.  I won't believe it until I see it.

Bob is announcing like an ex-employee.  He's being very 3rd person.

He should have a beer in front of him at all times.  And stop shaving.  End each inning saying, "If anyone wants to hire a sports broadcaster, gimme a call."  Followed by a good BURP, chased with a FART.  For any shots of the booth, he should a cup with TIPS written on it.
