Nyjer is a great leadoff hitter. I love how he works the count.

As long as he plays like Nyjer and less like T-Plush, he's a great, great player.

I assume he got a bad jump because it was the perfect pitch and throw wasn't all that great.

Nyjer just doesn't seem comfortable on the feet first slide just yet.

Really? Looks like he had a pretty realistic career arch to me.

24 - .743
25 - .780
26 - .805
27 - .826
28 - .792
29 - .871
30 - .886
31 - .789
32 - .743
33 - .756
34 - .826
35 - .758
36 - .704
37 - .496

I'll give you the home runs part... but, RBI's are mainly a product of the runners in front of you getting on base... not an indication that you are on PED's.

If Belliard ate 3 less burgers, he would have had that ball.

'02 Angels had numerous maybes for juicing(a lot of teams did);

Salmon, Erstad, Fullmer, Glaus, Spiezio and Anderson.

I'm not saying that Anderson wasn't on the juice, I just haven't ever heard his named mentioned as part of it.

Looks like he bounces back and forth between mid .700s and mid .800s in OPS with no real pattern to it.  Not sure how PEDs would cause a very normal career fluctuation (except maybe for the longevity of it).

He had steady improvement until he hit his peak at 27-31 where he had a single 30+ HR season and 4 20+ HR seasons.  Absolutely nothing unusual in there at all.

First walk?  47 strikes, 17 balls is fantastic, stay aggressive scott!
