Punto used to be a good defensive shortstop 5 years ago.  Played every day on some Twins playoff teams.  I'm tryign to think of some utility infielders. . .

Probably was a huge mistake to hold off Grilli for the save chance that never happened. 

I thought Smoltz was spot on when he said that the stretch of the order coming up in the 8th was the toughest match ups and that Grilli should have been in for them.  If Joe Maddon were managing that team, Grilli would have been in.

Wright said it's not too bad and he hopes to be back with the team tomorrow afternoon.   Mets' docs wanna look at him.
