Hahaha. That was an awesomely cheesy exit video with Morse spinning around in the chair and smiling.

I've never seen a hitter have the issues that Morse is having right now. He's trying to go the other way every time, so he's late on most inside fastballs and he's screwed when he gets an offspeed pitch off the plate outside.

He's a good hitter because he can hit line drives to all fields. That homer gives me hope that he's going to stop looking to go the other way every time.

Pudge has 2 groundouts with men on base and 0 GIDP. Is that a record for him?

Good inning.

I've taken to reading some Calvin and Hobbes while the game is on.  I find it helps.  I just read an exchange between Calvin and his dad that might sound a bit like hammondsnats talking with ronnynat.

Make Marquis play 3B and Livo play SS until Desmond and Zimm come back.

You can't stop Marquis on the bases.  You can only hope to contain him!

Isn't Jayson Werth supposed to be a good player? Can't hit or play defense so far. Fortunately, we have 6.9 years left for him to fix his issues.

I'd be really surprised if he doesn't end the season with an OPS around .900. That's just what he does.
