the weather is absolutely awful the whole weekend in pittsburgh it looks like.

God doesn't control the weather the Government does and they don't like Baseball because of Roger Clemens.

I am tired of rain. I am tired of cold. And god damn it i am tired of April. I saw another freaking low attendance article today. Do the people that write this crap go outside or have a memory to last year when they wrote the same damn thing, or do sportswriters just have a file ready to load up called AprilLowAttendance.doc change a few words and hit publish.

BP did a piece on low attendance last week, I didn't bother to bring it here. Down 2.4% across baseball if my memory serves, and it is part of a larger pattern of decline.

It makes perfect sense. The weather has been 50% worse this April than last. I haven't been to one game without a heavy jacket this year. Last season I think it was already warm. The groundhog should be charged with an error for this.

I remember last April being able to go outside and be comfortable without a jacket. Even at the Brewers series (last season) when it was raining all I needed was a windbreaker. This year have had to dress like I am at the Winter Classic again.
