This is the Nats you are talking about though, they wilt whenever it rains :? remember the 9 run blown lead vs Atlanta

Yeah, remember when that cost the Nats the division?  Oh wait, it didn't.

Nats are a good team, they're going to the post season. Try and enjoy it a little.

I hear you're getting married? Is that true? Congrats, that's completely awesome news.

My congrats also to both of you.

If the Nats cannot play above.500 ball for the remaining 16 games , even if the Braves don't go 13-1, we do not deserve to go to the play-offs. If we back in to the play-offs because the Braves did not take advantage of our poor performance I feel that we will get swept in the first series. We need to play with intensity and a fire in our bellies regardless of what the Braves do.

The '06 Cardinals backed into the playoffs (almost had an '07 Mets style collapse) yet they won the World Series.

yeah they are definitely not playing tonight. Whole area is under tornado watch until 7 PM but it's supposed to rain most of the night I think.

Double header on Wednesday?

Capital Weather Gang's NatCast seems to be inclining that way: 'Frequent showers and storms (some heavy) could challenge tonight's game. With any luck, they end early and it turns playable, but iffy chances of that' with 75 degrees at first pitch, 68 by ninth inning, 90% chance of rain.

what a nightmare :hang: We are going to lose the division without even getting to play a game. Braves will tack on another win tonight while we get rained out. Lead will be cut to 4.5 games. :hang: Double headers are almost always a split so this will cost us a chance at winning one game.

at least use the direct quote and don't "edit" it.

The relevant portion of the post was quoted correctly.

Get a grip.  My post was not directed towards you or against you.  It was about those “other” guys.

The point is that the basic theme of each team’s mascot is the same.  And one could argue that “Braves” is actually not as bad as
R------s.”

...but at least at Redskins matches one doesn't see tens of thousands of lobotomised-looking idiots doing the chop, or hear that same blasted music 67,000 times a match.

I hate the name of the Washington football team.

But that freaking chop... it's grating.

I gotta say the most soul crushing aspect of the chop is hearing it live when you lose a series   :hang:

Hope the rest and rain delay mean that the Nats go big tomorrow!

Marlins had Reyes on third with no one out. K-K-groundout. On to extra innings.  :bang:

Heath Bell actually has a 1-2-3 inning.  3-3 Marlins coming up in the 10th.

You clearly don't watch a lot of Skins games. Plenty of idiots to go around. Especially if you go to the game.
