How the devil did he make that play?  LaRoche can do not wrong right now!

As a former softball-playing firstbassman, it makes me proud to say Adam LaRoche is a fellow infielder.   ;)

If bunting is a part of your game, it doesn't matter how many outs there are, it's not a bad play.

Nats need to explore re-signing LaRoche. He's just so solid. Nothing gets past him.

The 10M option is a no-brainer right now.

Agree. And the veteran influence cannot be ignored.

Morse looks like the odd man out this winter.

Somebody will overpay for Michael Morse this offseason. Hopefully not us.

We have him signed through 2014 I thought.

He belongs in the AL - a born DH. I also don't really want to get rid of T-Mo.

That was a beautiful camera shot of the park at night.

And I just realized something - I've never been to a Nationals night game.

I've been to a couple of "twilight" games (like the Cincy game that was supposed to be St. Stephen first game) but never a full fledged night game.

Morse becomes a free agent in 2014. Not to say he couldn't be gone this offseason, but I doubt it.

Would make a great centerpiece for a CFer. Hopefully not BJ Upton.

I've lived in the DC area my whole life and every now and then I'm struck at how beautiful the city is. Especially on the VA side of the GW parkway at twilight. Stunning. //offtopic

To be honest I kind of expected him to be possible trade bait after this year.

Imagine if our OF wasn't clogged up with Werth.  Could keep Morse in LF, sign Bourn, and put Harper in RF where he should be.

Josh Johnson doesn't have to throw strikes to get strikes called.  It must be nice...

Agree, but . . .

The GW Memorial Parkway, other than Columbia Island, only exists in Virginia.
