congrats to Jeff Mandel for being picked to play in the AFL along with our other studs.

Mandel (24, RHP) who was a 19th round draft pick in '07 out of Baylor is 12-5 with a 3.16 ERA this season between Potomac and Harrisburg.

Does that finalize our contingent?

daryle ward is a lefthanded bat, and he's better than Pete Orr. and he carries the added bonus of being able to play 1B instead of Belliard.

I really, seriously doubt that there is anyone in our system that is in a position to be called up who is WORSE than Pete Orr.

there is no justifiable reason for Orr to be here.  at all. let alone in the starting lineup and batting 2nd.

Leonard Davis is left-handed and can play RF, CF, LF, 2B, and 3B. He had just gotten promoted to Syracuse a few days ago.

I'll probably listen to the Skins game since I have no other way to catch it and watch the Nationals game replay from my Roku.

The WarriORR's singles are pure blasts of uncontrolled power. Imagine what we could do if we could harness that raw power.

That was a terrible at-bat for Zimmerman.  I don't think Smoltz threw more than one strike.

Maybe Pete "freaking" Orr will sit down with him between innings and show him how it is done.
