The Washington Nationals...The cure for your 5+ ERA

...or 6+, 7+, 8+... ERA.  There's no limit to the stiffs the Nats can make look good.

These ******* guys make it really really hard to root for them
Is there a harder guy to root for than Felipe Lopez?  That guy has rubbed me the wrong way since day 1.

Guzman is the only hitter on the team that would be starting elsewhere.  That is awful.

I really am insulted when i see or hear nationals commercials urging me to buy tickets.

i think i'm just going to start prank calling the office telling them I want 4 presidents club season tickets

The prices should reflect the team. They should sell tickets at a prorated price. People should be getting paid to go to games at this pace :?

I'm not so sure I am willing to single out any of them right now. I agree that some are worse than others but almost without exception they are all awful right now.

A guy at my office went to the Nationals Dream Gala last weekend and the Nat assigned to his table was FLop.  He said he was "pretty arrogant."  When he asked him how he liked playing in DC, his response evidently was "I make any team I'm on better."

Agreed.  They take their lackadaisical attitude from Manny.  My patience with his patience is wearing thin.   He needs to throw some chairs and turn over the buffet table.   THe players play with absolutely no fire or passion.

That's so true about the Marlins record. I just saw the standings and the fish would be right at around .500 without having played us :?

If Acta tries to spin this into positives about Hanrahan and crap like that in the postgame I'm going to be offended and pissed off.

It's not so much his awful play that bothers me, it's his attitude.  For instance, Zimmerman, Johnson, Kearns, Schneider last year, all play hard every day despite anemic batting averages and I respect that.  Those are guys I can root for.

It sounds exactly like something FLop would say.  The guy that went was the office manager, probably sixty years old.  Never struck me as a person to lie or exaggerate.

QFT I think people make up stuff like that about players all the time.

Joel looking good except for that dinger he gave up.

Maybe he will talk some more about how great Hanley Ramirez is.  I am also in the camp that he needs to chew the team a new ass, and then call some guys out in the media....or bench them.  Play Machowiak (sp?), Boone, Harris, etc.,,

Where is Fick when we need him?

Worse actually, at least the teacher in Charlie Brown is only heard and not seen :?

It sounds exactly like something FLop would say.

You can only say that if you actually knew him personally.

2.2 innings 1 hit, 0 walks, 3 Ks.  Good outing besides the Uggla at bat.

But he was still wild when he came in. And that at bat against Uggla was kind of big.
