It's really, really bad.  Does it play "It's raining men" when it lights up?

i can't wait for the fish races during the fifth inning each game, I'm guessing the blue-fin will go years without winning.

Here's an article that provides some pics and gives a scale to the ENORMOUS sculpture home run thing. Note circled bulldozer/skidsteer in foreground

It's alive.

I look at that stupid thing and I get the taste of Starburst in my mouth. Do they really think they are going to sell out that atrium night in and night out?

Left handed batters are complaining about that thing being in their line of vision.

First thought was a colorful Melies production.  Second thought was a cheap carnival/chucky cheese show.

Oh, please let this happen.  Even if it's not, they should.

Gotta be honest, though, I do like the aquariums behind home plate.

Aquariums are always in good taste.

They should have a SeaWorld Whale show going on in Center Field like how Chase Field has hot tubs in their stadium. Complete with a splashzone and everything. Just keep tacking on the tacky. I love it. Makes my eyes bleed.

And yes, there's an aquarium behind home plate. I hope it's at least a foot thick!

just think of the hilarity if it shatters- are runners allowed to advance if the ball is under a flopping fish?

Many large aquariums are made of plexiglass, which is lighter, stronger and creates much less distortion than glass.  Unfortunately, it is easily scratched on the outside.

I think they're using bullet proof glass if I remember correctly.
