Just promoted from AA to AAA.

Likely to get the Antonelli treatment where it looks like he'll deserve a chance but ultimately will never be given one.

What the hell happened to Antonelli? I thought he signed a Major league contract with Baltimore?

He is in AAA for them batting .234/.395/.328

He did sign a major league deal. I guess they just wanted him as depth and were willing to overpay for it.

Was released by the Pirates prior to the season starting.

He was actually traded to Miami/Florida last season after the Pirates told him he wouldn't get a chance at AAA.  He may have been released, but without being added to the 40 man, I'm pretty sure he became a minor league FA.

Also, I think you may have just made a typo Linty, but you listed him as a starting pitcher under position.

That's what I get for copying the FTP from a pitcher's thread!

5'10" and 180 lbs. is pretty small for a big leaguer.

Of course, my new favorite non-Nat is Jose Altuve, generously listed at 5'5".

If this guy can get on base at the top of the order, then give him a shot.  Even as a pinch hitter, he'd be better than Nady and the rest.
