Does Hudson get no credit here?  Perhaps VP?

Nats would have to go 1-4 and the Braves would have to 5-0 for the Barves to catch up. Not happening.

Do you not have a superstitious ounce of blood in your body?  Why go there?  You are killing those of that do.

Better yet, how about Freddi Gonzales for letting Hudson pitch to Duda with that lights-out bullpen sitting there chomping at the bit.

Being superstitious is bad luck.

And our magic number drops to 2.

Remember what Davey always says, there's no difference in the W-L column between a 9-1 loss and a 2-1 loss.  We're still going to win the division.

Words of wisdom. So glad Davey is our manager.

When the Nationals were leading the Braves by nine runs, that wouldn't have been called a strike so that you gotta swing is nonsense. Of course, if that game was played under normal circumstances it would have been stopped because of the rain.
