Homer Bailey: 7 IP 0 H 0 ER 1 BB 8 K vs Pirates. No hitter alert

and Tim Hudson has thrown 6 scoreless IP vs the Mets. I'll eat my hat if the Mets score a run tonight. :lmao:

Enjoy!  Let us know how it tastes.

Nats owe the Mets a wet down if they win tonight after laying down to the tune of 14-4 against the Nats.

No hitter for Bailey.  Back to a tie for the best record in the NL.

Boswell had a good article in the Post on Wed. about the mindset of a team chasing a playoff spot ( division crown ) and the team in front of them w/ the spot supposedly sewn up.
We absolutely can't count on the Braves to help us w/ the magic #. They could EASILY win out.

You know what's lame?  Stanton didn't play against the Braves did he?  He is back tonight and hit a homer.  Braves are flukin' out.

Of course he came back tonight. Braves have gotten a lot of luck. Let's hope the Mets don't piss this game away. Keep letting Niese pitch, their pen sucks.

How in the heck are the Orioles doing it?! They're rotation changes every week.

Stanton was injured.  It is what it is.

One of my co-workers said the Braves are using the picture of the NL East Tshirts as Motivation!

Unless Edwin Jackson gets really good over the remainder of the season, he's cost himself a ton of money next season.

Just hope he doesn't cost a lot of folks a lot of money in the postseason.

crap, Niese at 112 pitches after 7 innings. Going to have to rely on the likes of Parnell and Frank Francisco. :spaz:

Niese is at 112 pitches.  Not sure how much longer they let him go.  And the Mets bullpen....if BAD.
