Skinny as hell  ...

You would have thought Flash would have fed him better with an MLB salary.

Too many runs. We're blowing our was too early. Not gonna have any runs left for the next two starts.

Espinosa is a HORRIBLE hitter.  I trust Desmond more at the plate.

He went 3/3 with a SB yesterday. Did he need to sit after that day as well?

he hasn't taken ownership of 2nd.  lombardozzi has earned a chance to get some PT

Our wad is safe with Stras.

Only because Desmond hasn't taken ownership of SS.  Danny's pretty much anchored himself at one of the two spots and it's just a matter of figuring out who the other guy's gonna be.  Lombo's earned a look.

And runs slow.  He barely got to third on Cora's double.

Based on what?

My thoughts as well.

Based on him being a superior fielder and solid at the plate.

Heading into today

Espinosa - .233/.320/.414/.734, OPS+ 101
Desmond - .242/.289/.345/.634, OPS+ 75

He has a .100 OPS advantage.

You can have your own opinion on those two... but statistically, you could not be more wrong.

That's not opinion, that's fact.

Danny Espinosa is going to have the lowest BA of any qualifying NL batter.  He's earned nothing.

Using batting average for anything kills your argument.

And of course, you're dead wrong.

Kelly Johnson - .209
Carlos Pena - .227
Chris Young - .229
Jason Bay - .230
Jayson Werth - .230
Alex Gonzalez - .231
John Buck - .231
Danny Espinosa - .233

i like danny, but he just refuses to change his approach at the plate when he has 2 strikes.  he strikes out way too much.  ultimately i think he's the man at 2nd but he hasn't locked up the job yet.

So being last is ok and not inexcusable?  Ask Adam Dunn, his compatriot in the AL.

When did 8th become last?

If you're going to have an argument that is factually wrong, stop trying to point to it as fact... it makes you look incredibly ignorant.
