When you invoke the Boss and nothing comes of it, things are bad.
Crud!  I invoked Thunder Road there, and even that can't turn this around.

Man I won't be home for another hour. I hope I can make it in time to catch the game on TV. I feel like I'd have better luck just watching it.

He's pitching as well as anyone else anyway.  What difference does it make?

If Stammen is sick, why does Davey keep trotting him out there?

No doubt.  These guys need to come out playing like their hair is on fire.  Hell, why wait until tomorrow?

Hey Smithian, you may have won the bet on a technicality, but I should get a shortened sentence since we qualified for the playoffs but FAILED TO SHOW UP.

Seriously. We are playing like the 3rd youngest team in baseball. Need some changes next year: Move Morse, E-Jax, possibly Espinosa.

I agree with you, although I don't know what "playing like your hair is on fire" means in baseball. It's not like football defense where you can hit anything that moves. :)

Danny is fine if he continues to hit in the #8 spot.  He plays great defense.

Morse is a problem in LF defensively but he's a good hitter (typically) and can move to 1B.

16.20 ERA for Stammen. Davey's obsession with him makes no sense. What is he saving our best relievers for??
