@Kevin_Goldstein

Holy Crap Matt Chico sighting.

Chico turned down nearly 700K from the Red Sox out of HS, flunked out of USC & JUCO; was pitching in beer leagues when DBacks drafted him.

He's with the Dodgers now, gave up a triple to Joe Panik.

Saw an old favorite today - Jeffrey Hammonds. Covered him with #Orioles. Now a pro scout with the #Padres. #MLB

It will be very strange to see Nick Johnson wearing an O's uniform.

It'll only be for two weeks before he breaks down again.

According to the transaction section on BR, Mock was signed by Toronto on December 1st and then released by them on February 17th.  Maybe a failed physical?  Or maybe they weren't impressed by his bullpen session.
Or his bullsheet, eh?      :spaz:

Coffey -He had a bad aura and is expendable. ;)

    Well Holy Sheet!   It's a good thing that Werth wears crystals to keep that "good" aura.....

Yesterday, I was in a third-row infield box to witness Brian Bixler hit a walk-off three-run home run. It was surreal.

A certain female companion of mine was distinctly unimpressed with his ass, actually.

Oakland's take on the GG trade:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/mar/20/oakland-gives-trade-with-nationals-all-as/

Milone could make the staff out of camp but he's been mediocre so far (7 ER in 12IP).  Peacock and Norris are heading to AAA.   Cole will pitch at High-A.

My A's friend said Peacock walked something like 7 consecutive batters recently one game.

Yes, but Manny will be elected mayor as long as he does not call out the cops on the occupiers.

Matt Stairs was co-hosting one of the evening shows on MLB Network Radio in the last week or so.  It sounds like he will be doing pre- and post-game shows for NESN.
