I can't answer that. I was actually watching the Redskins game.

not surprising? Vinny wasted draft picks rather than stock piling young talent on defense and offense.

need replacement for some of the older guys on defense. we have some good young players but need to get more.

Was I wrong?  Maybe Bronson Arroyo really is Tim Lincecum?

I think I am the only person watching the Nationals game only.

Since this game is about over, is anyone up for making a gameday thread for football in the red loft to talk about that game?

You don't get it. I was telling my brother earlier that there would be some idiots drawing conclusions about the Skins by 9 pm (after 1 quarter of the first preseason game). You jumped the gun and beat all the other morons by at least 1 hour.  :lmao:

That would end up being lame. It's about to go into the second half and that's about as exciting as watching the 7th inning of the third spring training game.

I drew my conclusions weeks ago. 8-9 win team at best. no offensive line.

Fred Davis is still a bum. Tryon is trash.

Defense has looked god awful. That kind of surprised me though.

I'm pulling for the Nationals to comeback and win, but I'm pulling for Gomes also.

let's face it, New England should run the table again with Brady back.

put an ass whipping on the Eagles in Philly tonight. McNabb played the whole first half too.

I would like to talk about it and some of the players but I didn't want to clog up the gameday thread, but ok.

It's pretty empty in here tonight. I know the Skins game is on but by now that game has no appeal.

Must we be punished for the 8-game winning streak?  Couldn't the streak just end without the baseball gods seeking retribution?

Win streaks for other teams just end. Why can't we be like that?

For some reason I thought you were a Ravens fan.
