LOL at Miguel Cabrera losing MVP in a triple crown season. Not saying Trout doesn't deserve it, but damn what more could Cabrera have done?

I dunno, maybe not had the worst defense at third base in all of baseball? Maybe slimmed down and stolen a few more bases?

Triple Crown is antiquated from a time when RBIs mattered. They don't. They're a result of the people hitting in front of you. Cabrera had 205 PAs with men in scoring position, Trout had 133. You hit Trout 4th in that lineup and Trout has as many RBIs as Cabrerra.

It isn't the award for the most valuable hitter. It's player. Cabrerra is NOT  complete player. He's a liability in the field and he's mediocre on the base paths. Trout is the best player. He plays elite defense. He runs the bases very well, is an excellent base stealer, hits for an elite average and hit 30 home runs. Not exactly a small amount.

Trout isn't having the best season of the year. He's having one of the best seasons in the history of baseball.
