Worst thing I've ever seen. Taking way too many pitches and not squaring up the ball at all.

Lowe is washed up and he carved us up with ease.

What an embarrassment.

Calm down.

(Or continue to throw a tantrum until you stroke so we don't have to listen to your overreactions after everything.)

You must have missed the 2008 season. This performance would be considered good for that team.

I think the Nationals were shut-out more than 20 times that year.

Having Pudge hurts. Huge black hole in the lineup.

Desmond looked overmatched batting first. Morse and LaRoche batting in the heart of the order sucks.

I thought Danny, RZ, and Werth were okay.

Gotta move Desmond out of leadoff.  It's not going to work.  I don't know what the other option is, but it's gotta be better.  Only 2-3 years until HOF Eury locks it down.

I was really impressed with the hitters patience.  Lowe had over a hundred pitches and they made him work.  That is something we didn't see them do in seasons past.  I am optimistic.

How come it always used to be "not taking enough pitches" and "not making the opposing pitcher work hard enough" but now that they had Lowe at over 100 pitches in less than 6 innings, taking pitches is bad?  Yes, the offense was bad, but not the worst performance in Nationals history.

give it a week before blowing up the team, in other news Livan looked dominant, Clippard looked good, the defense is improved...

Taking pitches was the best thing they did, they chased Lowe reasonably quickly. Gonzalez is an idiot for leaving him in for 105 pitches in freezing weather.

SF needs to be banned for that.

even my lerner rants are better than this mess.

it's one friggin game, we missed a couple opportunities.  lowe had lots of movement on his pitches today ... let's get 'em saturday.

I am stunned that someone with that many posts could start a thread like this.

Not the greatest way to start out the season, but this is an enormous, enormous overreaction.

If we can't win when our staff holds them to two runs, what are we going to do when our real pitching shows up and we start giving up 6-8 per game?  Pathetic showing by our bats.

This is the worst thread I've ever seen. It has MINDFACT written all over it.

That's SF for yah.
