linty, you think meyers should be the first one up to take mock's spot (based on the hope that the nats wake up and actually make a move)?

Either him or Tatusko... who's struggled in AA this year... but maybe a change of scenery will do him good.

Even if Mock is injured, which is certainly possible after his last two staggeringly bad outings, he should STILL be DFA'd for not telling the team.

Washington Nationals
Acquired: OF Chris Rahl from Diamondbacks for future considerations

Today...in Harrisburg now...wonder who the future considerations will end up being.

destin hood batting .324, 10 bb/11 k (potomac still playing tonight) ... such a strong start for the young stud.  would love to see him in AA down the road a bit if he continues this rate.

I am floored that we finally have a prospect with close to a 1:1 BB/K ratio.

damnit, norris 0-for-4, 4 k's ... .083 AVG ... but at least Harrisburg won via walk off homer.

Dude. He's played 5 games with 12 AB's. And missed over a week on the DL.

He'll be fine.

Anyone been keeping an eye on Blake Kelso?

Kid seems like he can play a little - has some speed and a decent eye at the plate.

He's played all over the place this year (2B, SS and 3B). Seems as though there may be some questions about his defense.
