While I want Chico to succeed, I find it troublesome that he is eighth on the list but has a shot to make our starting rotation this year.
I saw Chico pitch last season in Harrisburg and I have a few concerns about him as a starter. After about 3 innings he starts to lose command and becomes very hittable. He has good stuff for about 3, maybe 4 innings. After that his breaking pitches don't break and everything else ends up high in the zone which will end up getting crushed by good hitters.
