Bard's swing is so methodical and slow.

way to take one down the middle you fool.

The Nats have decided to stop swinging at fastballs in the strike zone.

Except upon replay, both Bard and Harris' called third strikes were outside the plate.

the one to Harris was probably a ball but I can't argue with the one on Bard.

need to protect

If Lannan pitches normal for him, we win.  5 runs in 6+ innings, too many to overcome.

The most embarrassing loss of the season.

...and there are three more games in the series.  :-[

yeah but we could and should have scored much more too.

two on, no outs for Dunn and Willingham in the 4th. we got nothing.

Ray's pointing out that Lannan's velocity sucked.  Very Bacsik like.

good point. he is right. Lannan was throwing 86-87.

and Riggleman had him throw 114 pitches despite having decreased velocity and a rough night :bang:

I missed most of the game, but if that's all the velocity he could muster, that's way below his average and he needs all 89-90 mph to be successful.

Sosa was most deserving but he is a Colome clone. sucks. he's played for everyone. 32 year old retread.

Thank god Russell decided to take Hanrahan out of the game before he had a "nationals" style meltdown
