Anyone watch Alcatraz last night? I DVR'd it, was it worth watching?

OK, I have watched both hours of the 2 hour premiere from Monday night.

And I can conclude - that I'll watch another week. I think it has some promise. It depends on how they handle how everyone originally disappeared from Alcatraz and how/why they are re-appearing.

Overall, it was decent, I like the Sam Neill character - and they ended the second hour with a little twist. I want to see how they handle that twist before I decide what I think about the show.

What drove me mad about Lost was, that they'd introduce an intrguing little twist, never expand on it and 3 months later do something to contradict it.

Damnit.

Really?

Even if you hate the Marlins I would think you'd enjoy watching this show as it should make for great TV with all the drama the team could provide.

i saw Alcatraz ... it was okay.  decent enough for me to stick with it at least another week.

it's jj abrams so if you like that kinda style, give the show a shot.  it's kinda like lost, from what i can tell.

and there's endless possibilities where this show can go, which i appreciate.  i will admit, it was nothing what i thought it was going to be like.

Yeah Alcatraz was okay, everything moved pretty quickly and there wasn't much explaining but I'll keep watching.

Sam Neill is a magnificent jackass in this show.

the show is worth watching for him alone at this point.

Sorry, I don't find those guys (Ozzie, Hanley, LoMo) as entertaining as most, I guess.

Also, my wife loved that show when they covered the Giants. They did a great job covering the personal storylines and family backgrounds. She won't like it as much when it's a circus with a bunch of idiots with inflated egos arguing and gaudy Miami  as the backdrop.

Lastly, it's additional time that I'll have to see those uniforms.

What the hell is Phineas and Ferb?  I thought that was a kids show.  Like kids kids not just a cartoon.

Okay it's that time again to play, "What should hammondsnats watch"

...currently hammondsnats is about 6-7 ep's deep into Lost Season 2 (and loving it), but he is also intrigued by NBC's Up All Night, starring the adorable Christina Applegate and Arrested Development's funniest actor Will Arnett.

Should he:
A) continue Lost because he's so in the zone

...or...

B) take a break from other world and have a few laughs with Up All Night.

contestants ... on your mark ... get set ... go ...

One of the best TV characters of all time!

Best part about LOST? You still haven't met the best character yet.

You are so lucky to have the chance to watch the show for the first time!

Yeah. I was watching a few episodes of Season 2 with him last night. I was naming characters I like but I had to restrain myself from a few since they haven't even been introduced lol.

Did you see they're thinking of making a spinoff about Dwight and his beet farm?
