52 pages?  52?  GDT's are going to be ridiculous this year...

Some will eventually lose interest. And even more so if the Nats begin to skid. But you're right. The gamethreads are off to an unprecedented start. I guess we're bandwagon fans.

and road games - if i recall - are usually busier than home nats games (seeing how some of us are in attendance).

What about those of us who sat glued to a failing 15" CRT every night watching ESPN's pitch tracker as Joel Hanrahan blew game after game in the ninth inning?

Thank god we're not that team anymore.

I remember staying up really late one night towards the end of the 2006 season "watching" a Nats/Phils game on MLB gameday, we were playing spoiler to the Phillies' postseason chances.  Multiple rain delays.  Can't remember if there were extra innings or not.  Was still awesome anyway.  Should still be in the old game threads somewhere.

:lmao:  Damn Nathan. I feel bad for you. But at the same time you should feel worse for those of us who were subjected to actually watching it on TV or at the stadium.  :hang:

No there were no extra innings. But it was a really fast game. When they announced the game would start at 11:30 I called my brother (I actually had tickets to that game) and we met up and headed for the stadium. It was cold (the only thing they were selling was hot chocolate) but it was awesome. We actually got into it with some phillie fans because we tore up an eagles sign they had made and brought to the game. It was Ryan Zimmerman's birthday.

For some reason I thought that game was in Philly.  I think I said that last time this came up, too

This was my introduction to Washington Nationals baseball, remember.  2008 season.  Why I didn't just find another team, I don't know.  Love is blind I guess

Really liked Detwiler's outing. Werth was very good, liked his postgame interview as well. Good :w: Let's take the series tomorrow.

Jayson Werth seems like a guy I'd enjoy hanging out with. Providing he had shampooed his hair.
I might have a beer with him and discuss the team.

But I don't want to hang out with any player while he's getting his hair shampooed.
