The gray with the red brim does not do it for me.  Gray is the universal color for road uniforms, so the color is not distinctly Nationals.  I like the blue cap with the red brim maybe most of all the Nats caps.

Really?  I loathe two-tone hats so it's the all red Nats cap or nothing for me.  My wife, on the other hand, really digs the two-tone so to each their own.

Two tone doesn't always work, but there are some classics.  I like the 1993 Mariners two tone dark blue cap with the green brim much bettter than the solid dark blue cap.  OTOH, the 1975 Sox cap (reddish maroon cap with a blue brim) I think was horrible.

The hat in this pic is still my favorite Nationals hat. I bought one of these when they first came out and I still wear it to this day.

Is there anywhere you can buy that above DC hat?

I had one, but my head grew.

I saw one a couple of years ago at TJ Maxx (or was it Marshalls?).  Regardless, they've all hit the discount rack now so eBay would be your best bet.

eBay is your best bet. I was thinking about finding another one. Mine is getting some years on it.

My girlfriend, who is a canadian, got me one of these badboys. It's a Quebec Capitales hat. They're an independant minor league team in Quebec City. Pretty cool hat if you ask me.  :)

What about DIY?

Sew it on - or take it to your dry cleaners, should only run you a few bucks for the sewing.

It is an idea-- but I am really lazy and besides the Nats should do this... just for me.

The Padres have a version like that, right?  Could be mindfacting but I thought that they had one last year.  That Nats should have this already.

Manny Ramirez used to wear those all the time.  Basically a wicking doo-rag.  I wear something similar when I do long distance cycling.

I imagine the Washington D.C. chapter of the Shriners wear those as they go-kart during parades.

Also, I could be misremembering here, but I think Lastings Milledge wore one of those as well.
