He didn't give the runner room to get to the base.

I know. I'm old and mean. Take his head off.

Harper is the last guy we'd put back there.

I think the Nats are trading players for every 4-7 runs they're allowed to score.

I am going to guess that it's not a serious injury, but that may be wishful thinking.

Gotta make sure we get this game to the official 5 innings so the HR stays on the books.

I wouldn't put Harper behind the plate.  That little bat episode would be nothing compared to what would happen with runners scoring.

I am going to guess that it's not a serious injury, but that may be wishful thinking.

His foot got caught under him as he got rent backwards. I'm hopeful and optimistic that this is not serious. Typically when a serious tear occurs the victim doesn't pop up and walk. When a tear happens they immediately think their leg is falling off and they stay down. Then they can get up and try to put weight on it. With a sprain it hurts but your first instinct is to put weight on it to see how bad it is, then it hurts and you stop doing that. My hope is 1 week and a bag of ice.

Bud Black should go out on the field and set Detmaya on fire if he loads the bases and gives up a grand slam.
