To me it's only known as the Contra code, not the Konami code.

It existed long before Contra, but yeah that's the game that most people are familiar with it from, myself included.

That was the Nationals' 7th blown save of the season. Tied for the Major League lead with Milwaukee.

Nice job with GBA, though. Not too much diva, just a natural gospel style.

Who names their kid Prince?

Who the hell names their kid "princess?"

Who names their kid "Jesus"?

It's a very common name, and there's nothing unusual about it.  "Princess" on the other hand...

We call our daughter princess sometimes, but we're trying to make a point when we do. Never marry a girl who's father calls her princess. She believes it and you're hosed.

Less than 700 hits needed.  Apparently I underestimated how much of each day's traffic is generated during game time.

and yeah, Rizzo has totally made the wrong choices in regards to fixing the bullpen.

first he released Shell for pretty much no reason. (because he didn't like his "aura" on the mound)

and he refuses to demote/cut Rivera and Hanrahan who are responsible for 90% of our bullpen suckage.

and in order to keep rivera and hanrahan on the roster, he refuses to call up or keep up people who can actually improve the bullpen like Clippard and Bergmann(who is much better in relief than as a starter).

Rizzo is screwing up.
