Two-run homer by the Mets, yet Sheffield never touched home plate.

Only the Nats could have that happen.

Murphy too.

JZ is garbage.  Just constantly bends over for bad hitters.
woah geez man...  Not exactly - he's just been called up way to early.  Probably will ruin his career too.

 If anything it will help his career. I like that we are getting all these young guys Major League experience.

The only thing that could hurt him is St. Claire. We really need to get him out of here.

What?

How many of Manny's favorites will be called up on this team.  Ledezma is one of the worst pitchers in baseball, and gets the call over Clippard?

he was a bit shaky in the first and made one mistake in the 6th, but other than that was pretty good.

when do pitching coaches get held accountable for constantly calling awful pitches in awful situations and refusing to properly scout the opposition?

This is like freaking little league.

I don't know about this inning, but Zimmermann was just missing his spots earlier. He deserves all of the blame for those runs.

Huh? MacDougal got called up.

Ledezma isn't even on the 40 man.

sportsfan always (when one of his boys is on the mound) blames the coaching for his boys getting shelled. Maybe that was Cabrera's, Beimel, Bergmann's (last night) problem as well. It's ridiculous to assume that the pitchers are blameless and that it's the coaching that sucks. At some point the pitchers have to be held accountable for not executing the game plan.

I'm not even talking about just this game although there was some awful ass pitch selection tonight.

It's the last several years with St. Claire. The constant bending over for the Fish, rolling over for all the best hitters on other teams, etc. Just not good.
