Well I have Hanley Ramirez on my fantasy team, so I hope he does okay, not good. I also have Zimm and Hanrahan!!

Bonifacio sucks.  And I hope Cody Ross strikes out 2 times today.

He can mash lefties, but I think Lannan can handle him.

How was Bergmann lights out?

Zero earned runs in spring. That's just about as good as you can get.

I waited so long to see lastings, guzman, zimm, dunn, johnson and dukes in the line up all together and healthy. But someone had to let Kearns in the starting line-up :(

the good thing is the fish usually have a problem with finesse lefties, let's hope the trend stays the same.  i like our chances with lannan out there.

Oh shut up and stop whining. Just enjoy Opening Day. Red Sox fans aren't.

Nats
Advantage
Fish
(CF) Lastings Milledge
(SS) Cristian Guzman
(3B) Ryan Zimmerman
(LF) Adam Dunn
(1B) Nick Johnson
(RF) Austin Kearns
(2B) Ronnie Belliard
(SC) Jesus Flores
(SP) John Lannan

Emilio Bonifacio (3B)
Cameron Maybin (CF)
Hanley Ramirez (SS)
Jorge Cantu (1B)
Dan Uggla (2B)
Jeremy Hermida (LF)
Cody Ross (RF)
Ronny Paulino (SC)
Ricky Nolasco (SP)
Should be a close game. I think it's going to come down to what the bottom of each lineup does.

Johnson is better than Uggla, Lastings is better than Bonifacio, and Nolasco is better than Lannan.

Yeah, the only time I will be able to post on the game day threads are when they play during the day....no chance to get online at home during the night.

Johnson is better than Uggla, Lastings is better than Bonifacio, and Nolasco is better than Lannan.
And, despite all the hand wringing, I think Kearns is better than Hermida too...

Johnson is better than Uggla, Lastings is better than Bonifacio, and Nolasco is better than Lannan.

All of them are close except for Hanley being better than Zimmerman and Dunn being better than Cantu, IMO. I think Lannan can be as good against the Marlins lineup as Nolasco can be against ours.

Kearns has a lot to prove this season, that's for sure.

Curse the early game, I'm going to get home just in time to miss Lannan pitching and watch our bullpen give it up :?

I'm sure there will be at least one stream out there.

I'm DVR-ing the game and I am not going to listen or watch anything until I get home so I will be watching the game like it's live to me at like 6:30. I'll be able to skip through the commercials and even the game if it gets ugly. :?

Man, I love Nick Johnson but you have to factor in his health...Uggla can give you 525+ AB's every year...if I had to choose between the 2 of them I take Uggla.
