48 IP in AA, 24 BB. I do like the K an inning rate. Bottom line I think is this kid is very promising but has more to learn at AAA. It seems there is a squeeze for finding spots on the 40 man roster. It would not be a travesty to give Milone the shot in September. It saves having to put him on the 40 man right now.
Drafted in 2006 out of high school. Must he be added to the 40 man this off season? If yes, that might change the thinking. No sense not giving him a taste if you are going to burn an option next year at the start of the year in any event.

His change just isn't there yet. So unless they're going to convert him to a reliever, he needs to start some more before making it to the show.
Could he pitch in the AFL?
