I request the following:

Willingham solo HR double - good enough
Flores single walk - so wish semi-GRANTED
Hernandez single wish GRANTED!
Belliard Kearns flyout double - wish EXCEEDED! (2 RBI)
Guzman K wish GRANTED, sadly
Johnson double (2 RBI) wish GRANTED! (2 RBI)
Zimmerman Dunn double (RBI) Zimm walked! Dunn singles - good enough; RBI wish GRANTED! (RBI)
Dukes single wish GRANTED! Plus an extra RBI - wish EXCEEDED! (RBI)
Willingham flyout (RBI) wish GRANTED, but we didn't get the RBI because Zim had already scored
Flores groundout strikeout, basically the same thing
Bottom line: I should make more requests. Holy crap.

Rivera and Hanrahan
Rivera is in AAA.

I'd go Wells (gulp) and then Beimel.

you're Manny Acta. who pitches the 8th and 9th?

Well, two lefties to start the inning....  I would lean towards Beimel for the heart of the order in the bottom of the 8th

and then either Wells/Hanrahan/Tavarez with a short leash in the 9th

So Nah-nen was freaking terrible huh?
He gave up 6 in the first, including a triple and a grand slam, but then he had 5 awesome shutout innings.

good point. you might be right. Bringing in Beimel to pitch the 8th makes more sense.

Forgot about Rivera going down yesterday.  How about Hanrahan for 2?  I'm Manny Acta so I gotta find a way to screw this game up.

It was pretty awesome, I was cleaning my room whilst checking Gameday and thought "What would be the best-case dream scenario that I wish would happen?" Except that it happened. Perfectly.

This has been the most enjoyable Nats game ever.

The lowly Nats are going to BREAK the home winning streak of the Dodgers, as the crowd BOOS.  The story will be "They lost Manny for 50 games, and then the streak too."

The LA crowd cheers former Dodger, Joe Beimel...

So you're not actually watching this? That must suck.

So hypothetically, if the bullpen came from ahead and blew this one would it qualify as the most embarrassing loss ever?

How was the movie?  I'm a Trek fan but I probably won't be able to catch it for another week or two due to work.

Actually, hammondsnat started the Gameday thread, and can justly claim being UNDEFEATED in 2009 in threads he started.

Yeah. I am Gamedaying it. What can I say? They show neither Nationals nor Dodgers in San Antonio, Texas, at midnight.
