What did Bonnie Bernstein ever do to you? Are her color coordinated winter outfits too cutesy for you?

I'm trying to think of an Adrian Karsten's joke... but nothing comes to mind.

Wasn't Debbie the only sideliner that knew Phil Rizzuto was in "SpaceBalls"?

Good point, I hadn't noticed but now notice the misspelling in the thread title.  With my powers as global moderator, I'm going to fix it.

Is Debbi like a picturesstar name or something? Because her parents were way off with that one.

Debbi Taylor, formerly Debbi Wrobleski is a reporter for the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network

Debbi got her start in sports broadcasting at NESN, where she hosted the morning show, as well as doing feature interviews and reporting for Boston Red Sox games.

After six years at NESN, Debbi joined Sun Sports and FSN Florida, where she worked as a sideline reporter. She was also a sports anchor and reporter for WOFL and WKMG-TV in Orlando where she covered the Daytona 500 and Super Bowl.

Debbi has won two local Emmys and a national Emmy for her trip to Cuba and "The Friendship Games." She was honored by Red Sox legend Ted Williams by being one of only two women included in the broadcast wing of the "Hitters Hall of Fame" (the other was longtime Red Sox owner Jean Yawkey).

Taylor is a native of Nashua, New Hampshire.

If she's a Hall of Famer, it must mean there are not many women around to nominate.  Besides Amber for the Orioles, what other women are there reporting baseball as a sideline reporter? Just curious.....

NESN, ESPN, they all are in John Henry / Tom Werner's control.

The NESN sideline reporter is Heidi Watney.  The two previous ones were Tina Cervascio and Hazel Mae. Watney is best known for breaking up Jason Varitek's marriage in '08 and then moving on to Nick Green in '09.

I'd watch Debbi. Plus the audio track would be great. "How does it feel inside me?", "What were you thinking while we slept together?"

Bob Carpenter: ...
On a personal note, I'm thankful to the Nats and MASN that I will be there to enjoy it with you for the next few years, as I signed a new contract with MASN a few weeks ago. As I've said before, I feel our MASN production team is right there with the best in baseball, and Rob Dibble took us to another level last year. Debbi Taylor is back as well, and we all want you to know that we will work hard every day to bring you the best coverage of Nationals Baseball that we can. This year we are wall-to-wall HD!

As a play-by-play announcer in the major leagues since 1984, I know that it's a long season, and I can't make every one of you happy every inning of every game. Having done this for a long time, I'm always trying to get better at what I do, and I do notice your comments from time to time here on MASNsports.com and on Nationals.com. If your critiques are delivered in a sincere and courteous way, I promise I will pay attention to them and take them to heart.

Without revealing specifics, I have already changed a thing or two about how I do my job from comments I've read from you the last few years, and I will continue to try and do a better job every year. Baseball is a great game and, no matter how long you have been watching, you always learn something new. That includes us way up there in the booth.

I don't think people realize how hard it can be to do play-by-play for any sport, especially a last-place baseball team. Carpenter seems like a great guy and I'm very happy to hear he takes constructive criticism.
