Anibal Sanchez, RHP (4-2, 3.70) In his last start, Traber lasted 5 2/3 innings and gave up five runs -- four earned -- on six hits. He is looking to win his third consecutive game since being called up from Triple-A New Orleans earlier in the month. Traber will face the Marlins for the first time in his career.
Splendid in his last outing, Sanchez settled for a no-decision at the Dodgers. The rookie right-hander gave up just three hits in six scoreless innings. While Sanchez has not won in four straight outings, he has been solid in his last three starts. In those three games, he is 0-1, giving up four earned runs in 18 innings. This will be Sanchez's third appearance against Washington, where he is 1-0 with two no-decisions.
