What are the odds of Livan getting a triple to complete the cycle?

I think Livan would collapse and die, upon touching 3rd base.

Yeah that's what I was going to say.  Livan hitting a triple would be like a MAN getting pregnant.  Totally impossible.

You should never hit into a double play in that position.  Take the strike and the one out, and keep someone on base.

Don't you remember the one he hit last year?

Oh yeah...  sort of.  Wasn't there a fluke carom or an error or something?

Yeah, it got passed the outfielder as he dived for it. Since everyone was so shallow he got all the way to third.

Brooks Zimmerman just made a nifty little catch to end the inning.

Livan's cruising now.  Think he'll get a chance to go 4 for 4?

Who was the last hitter in baseball who could get a hit every time up?

Maybe it's just the "curse of the Senators":   any player playing shortstop for Washington will immediately become completely useless at the plate.
