It is the scorekeeper's decision. The scorer decides which relief pitcher made the strongest effort, or contributed most to the victory, and at his discretion chooses a winner. He informed Z that Slaten would be the chosen victor due to Batista's homer.
To make this clear, this is only if a reliever enters the game before 5 innings are completed.

Kept the radio on till the match was officially called.

Our 20th win...last season, the Nats didn't notch win# 20 till 19th June, two days before Fathers' Day.

And now we're good through 16th May without having been swept in a series...laugh all you like, but by 16th May of last year the Nats had already been swept in three series and were on their way to being aced in a 4-match home series vs the Phillies.

we're 20-15 overall, 18-9 against teams not in Philly.

We've kept the momentum going from the end of last season's 7 game winning streak.

did i miss anything fun from the gameday thread?  i watched this one from a bar - good amount of nats fans there.  i was rocking my nats hoodie and blue hat, got a lot of compliments and high fives during zimmerman's display.
