doesn't matter.. we are destined to lose this game.

As Scott Olsen said, when talking about the lack of coaching leadership, the Marlins go to bed at night dreaming up new ways to lose.

We can't give up any more runs if we want to have a chance to win this game.

Great pitch.

Anyone know Hill's pitch count?

Thank you Bob.

...and getting another run to tie it ain't looking too good either!

Thanks, D-Willis.. Quality start for Shawn despite giving up 10 hits (most of them of the fluke variety).

Zimmerman's sneaky bunt singles disappeared this season.

LOL Sutton towing the company line saying that tickets are flying out the window. They've been saying that for a month so they should be sold out by now.

freaking... Young needs to be benched for a week.  He has been a double play machine for the last week or so.  such a rally killer

well thats game. only because our middle of the lineup hasnt been great tonight and the lower 3rd looks even worse (belliard). the way willis is pitching, the way hill is pitching, the way our BP is pitching, and the way we're hitting, i dont see us comin back

That's it.  Whatever it is that happened to us, we can't overcome it tonight.

Each successive inning gets uglier and uglier.

6th Inning

The problem is that it has nothing to do with hits and pitches and innings.  Something not within our control has happened to the team that will not let us win tonight.

pitiful Kearns and Dmitri.. we don't deserve to win at all. 2 runs in 6 innings against this bum??  pathetic.  If Manny doesn't bench Young he should at least move him down in the order because he is killing the offense with all of the DPs.

6th Inning

read my reasoning. i just dont think this team has it tonight.
however, the marlins BP is bad so we may have a chance with a late rally.

The one thing I do know, if some of you guys were on this team, you WOULD pack it in when down by 1 in the 6th inning. Just because you would, doesn't mean that the Nats would. Man, I would not like it at all if you guys were on my pick up basketball teams. I try to avoid those people at all costs.

Exactly.  Bob and Don just addressed this.  The moment that Dmitri lined into a DP the game was over even though we were winning at the time.
