I dunno - I'm about ready for another bases loaded balk.  OK maybe not - I'd be fine never seeing that again in my lifetime.

Can Bally pick up the long relief role for us if Gaudin is moved (either in a trade or to AAA)?
He can ..but his role is more set up guy. Long relief would be Detwiler or probably Maya.

They need to work out a trade with the Cards for Broderick, then.  That guy has no business in the majors.  He may have some potential as a starter down the line, but they are just wasting a spot on him in the bullpen right now.  He's just not ready to face MLB hitters.

I was going to challenge you to find a Marlins fan to fight.  But actually I'm gonna make it easy on you and just challenge you to find a Marlins fan.

yeah it's a tough opening month, but every team in our division has to play the same teams.
  \

According to the blog by Kilgore last week, our first month has half our games against teams that were above .500 last year and obviously half that were below .500, so our schedule shouldn't be so tough.

JM is from Brooklyn? Sounds it. Maybe Jersey.

Correction: Staten Island.

They do look sharp, I'm taking my Dad to the Father's Day game to pick up our free road caps.

You always expect a southern drawl or California cool when you hear players talk, but not New York.

You sorta wish they could have gone the other way, so it doesn't look so much like a Braves cap. But I guess you don't do red with a blue brim.
