This has been driving me nuts for like half the season.  Does anyone know the reason the guy at the end of the screen on the visitor's side holds up different color square sheet of plastic several times each inning?

i noticed that last night too and was wondering the same thing.

We sit in section 117, which is next to this guy.  It looks like a TV purpose

Has something to do with signaling the umps  how long to wait until the commercials are done.

Thanks PB, that makes sense...it's clearly a TV thing, but I had no clue what it could be

Like the guy who stands on the sideline in NFL games with the orange sleeved top.    Signals TV timing info to the refs.

parked again on Tuesday at the lot across from the firehouse on Half Street between L and M (behind 7-11).  Still $20 though by the time we got there all the spots were full so the attendant asked us to leave our key in the ignition and just park in the lane between spots (along with everyone else that was arriving).  It was a bit unsettling leaving an unlocked vehicle and a key, but when we returned the car had been parked in a spot, and the attendant was holding all the keys.  It's a great location for $20.

2015 Season Plan - Dugout Box Premier
« Reply #1606: August 07, 2014, 12:00:30 PM »
Has anyone heard anything more about the new "section" identified as Dugout Box Premier for the 2015 Season ticket renewals?  It appears as if they are significantly increasing the price for some of the rows in the sections directly behind the dugout ($100 per vs $75 per).  How many rows?  Which rows?  If I am in the last row of the new "section", is that one row delta really $25 better?  Would appreciate any insights.  Thanks -

We are in a section right behind the visitor's dugout (section 117).  What rows are changing to identify the 3 groups of rows ?

First five rows of the two sections behind each of the dugouts.  It does seem like a raw deal if you are in row 5 and that you dodged a bullet if you are in row 6.

Absolutely, that was well written, shows a sense of humor if nothing else.  At 65 I wouldn't expect her to post a bathing suit photo.

Anyone know if the lot under the Freeway on S Capitol Street is open for weeknight games? I'm thinking of driving rather than Metro tonight.

Thanks.

Yes it is - I've used it several times this season. $10.

You can park in the lot under the So Capitol St bridge for $15 if you buy via Spothero in advance, otherwise it's 20.  This is very close to the home plate entrance.

it's $20 to park in the lot across from the fire station, much closer.

I have no idea where the fire station is, do you have the lot address?

I could not get Lot B parking for the afternoon game on the 10th...

Anyone know the best point of entry for Lot H...off of M Street or off of Half Street?

It's right behind the 7-Eleven.

Thanks.  The only lot I can pull up on Spothero in that area is at described as both as the 25 M St. SW - Lot, and 1180 Half Street SW, but it's $30 and a bit further from Nats park than "my" lot at 1620 So Capitol SE, which is $15.  Maybe he means another lot.
