Anyone watch the new comedy on Showtime called "House of Lies" starring Don Cheadle? Pretty funny

no, hadn't heard.  Could be interesting.

I think it'll be terrible.

Joey, anyone?

Did you see they're thinking of making a spinoff about Dwight and his beet farm?

should be awful, but hopefully that would mean an end to the office as well

this season hasn't been too bad, still too many characters though.

This season has been a lot better than I expected it to be.

Okay it's that time again to play, "What should hammondsnats watch"

...currently hammondsnats is about 6-7 ep's deep into Lost Season 2 (and loving it), but he is also intrigued by NBC's Up All Night, starring the adorable Christina Applegate and Arrested Development's funniest actor Will Arnett.

Should he:
A) continue Lost because he's so in the zone

...or...

B) take a break from other world and have a few laughs with Up All Night.

contestants ... on your mark ... get set ... go ...

Up All Night is really good, btw.

saw one episode when they were trying to look cool for a young neighbor who moved in and thought it sucked.

Well, okay. I don't think it sucks.

Obviously, it's a feel-good clean young family comedy. If you aren't into that, you won't like it.

I'm tearing through Rescue Me right now.

"Fear Factor" has never been a paradigm of restraint and dignity, but its latest stunt is even more depraved than normal.
The contestants on Monday night's show will be asked to drink a glass of donkey semen and a glass of donkey urine, according to TMZ. The stunt was so reportedly so extreme that NBC executives had serious doubts about airing the segment, but they eventually gave it the green light.

Today was the last day for Jim Rome is Burning. Sure, he's an ESPN tool, but he's one of the better ones and his show was pretty decent. I can honestly say that I'll miss it, even though I rarely watched it anymore.

hadn't watched it in years but I always enjoyed listening to him when he was on the radio.

It was pretty fun to watch at the gym.  The rest of ESPN (when games aren't on) is total dreck.

The only worse of the half hour shows was around the horn which is unbearable- I'll take lebatard or pti over Rome any day

PTI makes me want to hunt down Tony Kornholer and set him on fire.  What a total putz.

Try saying that when you watch "Friends."

If you're saying Friends isn't a quality sitcom... we've got problems.

You could say that about any number of shows since the dawn of TV.

If you're saying Friends isn't a quality sitcom... we've got problems.

It's horrible.  I want them all to die.

I'm all for being snarky... but sometimes I enjoy mindless comedies.

I thought Friends was perfect when I wanted to watch something comfortable that I knew would make me laugh a couple times an episode.

I've got the Cosby show that I'm going to start working through soon. Still haven't found anything to compare with that. Would like to do the same for Seinfeld sometime too. I was too young to appreciate it in its prime but have really enjoyed whenever I've seen it in reruns.  Same goes for Cheers.

have you watched MASH?

Still no better show on TV, ever, IMHO.
