if they do something to intentionally cheat or effect the game they should automatically lose that game

One of the greatest Nats moments of all time.  After this game we'll direct you to the game thread.

I tried to find highlights of that last week and MLB has seemingly taken them down.

I'd love to see that too.

Looks like Paralta had a foreign substance in his glove.
What happened? I'm at the game on my phone and confused.

Their manager Maddon will have something to say about it for sure. He won't let this go lightly.

You think he is a man of no integrity like Sciosca?

I disagree.  Maddon seems a class act.

Davey never managed him. It would have to be someone like Clip, Zim, Flores, etc.

Hasn't he been with the organization for a while before taking over? Just speculation.

Joel Peralta, ex nat, had his glove confiscated because of something against the rules inside of the glove. Davey had asked the umps to have his glove checked. Someone on the Nats may have ratted him out since they know something about him when he was here.

Yeah, they ejected Paralta from the game for an illegal glove.

Davey requested umpires inspect Peralta's glove, umpires confiscated, Peralta gone.

Haha no, I watched the game. I hadn't read any of the posts here. Just the first thing I thought of and came to post it here. Sorry for the misleading post.

Long long ago in a game in a league far far away, our Nats had a surprise rookie pitcher made the 1961 (?) All-star team. Joe McClain had been a minor-leaguer for the White Sox until the AL formed the expansion Senators.

When Ralph Houk sent McClain into tghe ASG, Joe said, "Hold on, I've got to get my pine-tar". McClain dunked his pitching arm into a bucket of pine-tar, right up to the elbow. In the first game McClain pitched against the Yankees, Houk went to the umpires and asked them to shake hands with McClain. Our phenom kid was told to wash his arm...and pitched like dirt the rest of the season. And was gone.

He is but that move from Davey is a big "freak you". He'll retaliate somehow I would bet.

Why does this reliever get all the time he needs?  Peralta wasn't injured.  He got caught cheating.
